Baby alpaca is the finest and softest fiber an alpaca produces, collected during the first two shearings of the animal's life. Unlike sheep's wool, alpaca contains no lanolin, making it naturally hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. The fibers are also hollow, allowing the blanket to regulate temperature naturally — keeping you warm in cooler weather without overheating.
