Why "100% alpaca" doesn't always mean what you'd think
An alpaca can be sheared for up to 20 years, but only the first two shearings produce true baby alpaca. Everything after that is coarser adult fiber — which is what a lot of "100% alpaca" products elsewhere are actually made from. This one is 100% baby alpaca specifically, the finest cut we produce.

Warms you up, lets you cool down
Alpaca's hollow fiber insulates when you're cold and breathes once you've warmed up — worth knowing if you're packing for weather that doesn't match the calendar back home, like a July trip to Cape Town or an Alaska cruise.
