This premium dog poncho is designed with both beauty and function in mind. Alpaca naturally regulates temperature, helping your dog stay warm without overheating, and it is hypoallergenic, making it an excellent choice for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies.

Thoughtful Fiber Blend for Long-Lasting Shape

This poncho is made with 60% Baby Alpaca and 40% acrylic, a blend chosen intentionally.

Baby alpaca is incredibly soft and luxurious, but when used alone it naturally stretches over time and can lose its shape. The added acrylic provides structure and resilience, allowing the poncho to maintain its fit and appearance through regular wear.

We intentionally do not use sheep’s wool. Wool can be inconsistent in quality and often itchy, and we never want to compromise the softness or comfort of the baby alpaca we use.

True Baby Alpaca – Not Adult Fiber

The alpaca fiber in this poncho comes from the first or second shearing of our alpacas, known as baby alpaca.

After the first two shearings, alpaca fiber becomes adult alpaca, which is coarser and more likely to feel itchy. That adult fiber is what we sell to other companies around the world—we reserve baby alpaca exclusively for our own designs.

Our dog poncho is easy to put on and features a hole on the back for harness access, allowing the harness to be worn underneath without bunching or discomfort. This design is especially ideal for older dogs or dogs who may struggle with sleeves.
