Andean Noir Baby Alpaca Throw Blanket — Andean Noir pairs deep black with warm beige for a striking study in contrast. Graphic yet restrained, the woven palette lends quiet drama to contemporary, rustic, and tailored interiors.
Made by Us in Peru
Andean Noir never passes through a chain of anonymous suppliers. Our family raises and shears the alpacas, selects the fleece, creates the black-and-beige design, and uses natural dyeing methods. The final throw is hand-loomed in Peru and sold by its makers.
Our Baby Alpaca Standard
Andean Noir is woven with baby alpaca selected from the first two shearings. We regard this as the finest and softest fleece. Choosing it deliberately is how we guarantee a refined feel against the skin.
Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.
Softness with Lasting Structure
The Andean Noir weave contains 60% baby alpaca and 40% Dralon. Baby alpaca supplies softness and breathable warmth. Dralon gives the graphic weave greater durability, definition, and lasting structure.
