Made by Us in Peru

The journey of this teal and charcoal throw stays in our hands from alpaca to finished piece. Our family raises and shears the alpacas, selects the fleece, dyes it naturally, creates the design, and hand-looms it in Peru. We then offer it directly through Peruvian Accent.

Our Baby Alpaca Standard

For us, baby alpaca means fiber from the first two shearings. This early fleece is exceptionally fine and soft. Selecting only that grade is how we guarantee the luxurious touch of this teal and charcoal throw.

Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.

Softness with Lasting Structure

A 60% baby alpaca and 40% Dralon blend gives this throw its balance. Baby alpaca provides breathable, lightweight warmth. Dralon adds durability and structure, helping the blanket keep its elegant shape.
