Made by Us in Peru

This Solid Black throw is created within our own family-led process. We raise and shear the alpacas, choose the fiber, dye it naturally, and design the blanket in Peru. Hand-looming completes the piece, which we sell directly under the Peruvian Accent name.

Our Baby Alpaca Standard

Solid Black uses only the grade we call baby alpaca: fiber from the first two shearings. This is the animal’s finest and softest fleece. Our selection standard guarantees a beautifully smooth finish.

Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.

Softness with Lasting Structure

Our Solid Black composition is 60% baby alpaca and 40% Dralon. Alpaca keeps the throw lightweight and warm. Dralon adds resilience and structure, preserving the clean, tailored drape.
