Mocha begins with alpacas raised under our care. We shear them, reserve the finest fiber, dye it naturally, and design the weave ourselves. Peruvian artisans then hand-loom the throw before our family brings it directly to your home.

Our Baby Alpaca Standard

The softness of Mocha begins with our first two shearings rule. We classify only that finest early fiber as baby alpaca. Using it exclusively is how we guarantee the gentle, elevated feel customers expect from us.

Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.

Softness with Lasting Structure

Mocha is woven from 60% baby alpaca and 40% Dralon. The natural fiber feels light, warm, and breathable. Dralon supports the drape and shape, adding the durability an everyday luxury should have.
