The Military Green throw is made by the people behind the product. We raise and shear our alpacas, select their finest fiber, work with natural dyes, and design each weave. The finished blanket is hand-loomed in Peru and sold directly through Peruvian Accent.

Our Baby Alpaca Standard

We use a clear baby alpaca standard for Military Green: fiber must come from the first two shearings. The selected fleece is exceptionally fine and soft. That standard guarantees lasting comfort and a luxurious touch.

Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.

Softness with Lasting Structure

Military Green is woven with 60% baby alpaca and 40% Dralon. Alpaca provides warm, breathable comfort. Dralon adds durability and structure, giving the blanket a refined yet practical finish.
