Inca Red and Charcoal begins with our alpacas and our vision. We oversee their care and shearing, select the fiber, create the naturally dyed palette, and design the weave. The throw is hand-loomed in Peru and sold directly by Peruvian Accent.

Our Baby Alpaca Standard

Our Inca Red and Charcoal throw uses baby alpaca from the first two shearings. We classify this early fleece as the finest and softest. Its careful selection guarantees a sumptuous feel beneath the bold color.

Baby alpaca fibers are naturally hollow. They hold warmth when you need it and release excess heat as you warm. Alpaca is also free of lanolin, making it gentle for many people with wool sensitivities.
