Rich, grounding, and a little bit moody
Dark chocolate brown with a charcoal accent — the kind of color that hides everyday wear and looks intentional almost anywhere, from a boutique hotel lobby to a college dorm.
Since 1979, we've stayed a family operation
We don't outsource any part of the process: a cooperative of 300+ Peruvian families raises the alpacas, hand-dyes the fiber naturally, and hand-looms each blanket start to finish.
Here's what most alpaca sellers won't tell you
An alpaca is shorn for up to 20 years, but only the first two shearings count as true baby alpaca. Everything after that is coarser adult-grade fiber. We use only that first-cut fiber in our blankets.
Warms you up, lets you cool down
The hollow structure of alpaca fiber means it warms you up when you're cold and lets heat escape once you've warmed up, instead of trapping it the way synthetic fills do.
