Two neutrals that work everywhere
Beige and steel blue together read calmer than either color alone — equally at home on a linen sofa or layered over a guest bed.
Family-owned since 1979
Peruvian Accent has been family-owned since 1979. We're part of a cooperative of 300+ Peruvian families who raise the alpacas, shear them, and hand-dye the wool using traditional methods before hand-looming every piece ourselves. No factories, no middlemen.
Why baby alpaca is different
An alpaca can be sheared for up to 20 years, but only the first two shearings produce what's classified as baby alpaca — finer and gentler than anything that comes after. We use exclusively baby alpaca in our blankets and sell the coarser adult-grade fiber to other manufacturers instead of blending it in here.
Warms you up, lets you cool down
Alpaca's hollow fiber traps heat when you're cold and releases it once you've warmed up — which is why it tends to become the blanket of choice for people who run hot and cold within the same hour.
